Assistance is readily available when required with an ambulance stationed in the Breton Medical Centre and ambulance attendants living within the Village. Associated Ambulance is currently under contract with Alberta Health Services to provide ALS and or BLS service in: Athabasca, Breton, Barrhead, Boyle, Edson, Evansburg, Drayton Valley, Hinton, Lac La Biche, Ma-Me-O Beach, Mayerthorpe, Jasper, Rimbey, Rocky Mountain House, Smoky Lake, Sylvan Lake, Thorhild, Vilna, Westlock and Whitecourt and their surrounding areas.
