As you enter through the doors of the Breton Museum, you will travel back through history to Keystone, one of the four Black communities in Alberta settled in 1909. Learn how the coming of the railway in 1926 transformed it into ‘Breton’, a major lumbering centre at “the end of the line”. Honouring Black History during February. Admission: By donation.

Located at the Breton Golf Course along Highway 20, the CentraPlex houses a licensed restaurant, pro shop and dance studio. The CentraPlex is a non-smoking building, with a large deck for outside eating and socializing. The dance studio is used by Miss Joanne's School of Dance September thru May. The CentraPlex houses a pro-shop and licensed restaurant, with a covered patio for outside dining. A serviced RV park with tennis court and a paved outdoor skating rink is located nearby with easy access to the golf course. Tee times are encouraged to be booked for weekends. Call 780-696-3531.

The Breton Community Centre is the heart of many special events in village of Breton. Located at the east end of Main Street, the Community Centre has the capacity to hold 300 people, making it a wonderful place to have weddings, socials, funerals and smaller events such as meetings, anniversaries and special birthdays. Local community groups such as the Elks, Royal Purple, Scouts and Golden Age Club use the Community Centre on a weekly basis. The Community Centre is a non-smoking building. The Community Centre is operated through the Breton Agricultural Society and bookings can be made by contacting the Breton Village Office.
