Fires Services 

Working out of three halls in Lodgepole, Breton and Drayton Valley, approximately 60 firefighters and staff provide service to approximately 15,000 people in an area of approximately 3,000 square kilometers.

Responding to roughly 300 calls a year, the Drayton Valley/Brazeau County Fire Services works hard at providing the best service possible for the citizens of Drayton Valley and Brazeau County.

Our full-time staff which includes a Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief – Operations, Deputy Fire Chief – Training, Maintenance Coordinator, and Admin Support are committed to not only providing top-notch emergency care but are dedicated to making our community safer by providing a comprehensive inspection, investigation, and fire prevention program.
